This position reports to the Client Solutions Director as part of the Professional Services Organization. This position will involve working with the engagement team on the preparation of Solution Delivery engagements for customers, focusing on initial internal and external resourcing such that Project Managers are ready to engage in delivery. Coordination with engineering management for access and engagement of internal delivery resources and work with the PMO around standards, governance, reporting and issue escalation.


  • Ensure that Technologent is prepared to embark on Professional Services engagements as either Work Orders or Statements of Work with proper signatures, terms and conditions as well as appropriate pricing following corporate principles and policy.
  • Preparation of projects by identifying and assigning resources, working collaboratively with Client Solutions team (CSM and CSD), engineering and account teams and professional service leadership based on policy and prioritization guidelines, utilization, availability and customer requirements.
  • Project resource plan will be maintained in Technologent project management toolset (Workfront, MS Project, Project P&L sheet), transaction system (NetSuite) including notification to PM's, resources (internal and 3rd party) and updating the project portfolio registry.
  • Manage resources access to tools including new supplier/resource onboarding, vendor web sites, email access, intranet tools and requests to network, VPN, televideo access as well as building security.
  • Manage all requests for purchase orders, work orders and Time and Material contractor based engagement documentation.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to on-board resources including background and drug screens and contractual compliance including insurance, invoicing-payment setup and other documentation as required by Technologent HR and contracting policies.
  • Collaborate with Client Solution team, Project Managers and PS Operations team on internal processes and procedures
  • Encourage and participate in the implementation and maintenance of Pre and Post Sales process
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to coordinate the assignment of presales work assistance for account teams
  • Contribute in creating new and improve existing SOW and LOE Templates and ensure that client and account teams obtain customer sign off on all Work Orders and Statements of Work with appropriate pricing and a functional Level of Effort.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager on Work Orders by scheduling resources, ensuring completion with clients and that account teams obtain client signatures upon completion.
  • Manage access to informational resources including intranet, email and vendor sites for all new and departing resources
  • Contribute to monthly project reporting based on cost versus charge rates, hours over the initial LoE and reporting of utilization of 3rd party supplier resources and quality of work.
  • Track the 3rd party supplier and certifications, accreditations and training; coordinate with engineering team for internal resource certifications including applying for MDF or similar funds for education and training credits.
  • Follow up with legal documentation from account teams, approve project and set primary resources for deployment prior to Project Manager hand off

Business Objectives:

  • Maintain business-focused reporting on all resources for utilization, cost and charge rates as well as milestone tracking of projects to ensure resources are properly engaged and leveraged for existing and potential customers based on skills and technologies offered.
  • Identify and manage escalations around resource utilization, scheduling conflicts, project over-runs and delivery quality issues.
  • Coordinate with customer engagement team, engineering and professional services team to provide proper guidance on resource selection for projects.
  • Provide responsive advice, counsel, education and service concerning time tracking, scheduling and reporting of Professional Services.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous resource coordination experience
  • Good people skills and negotiations
  • Process oriented with attention to detail
  • Understanding of people characters, personalities and politics to effectively navigate team building and participation of all personnel to a common, successful goal.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project. Ability to master NetSuite, Workfront and other Technologent project management tools.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability/affinity for communicating with customers/senior internal management in both formal and informal situations as required.
